so, before anybody loses their shit about legality, or directs me towards VMware + Unlocker/VirtualBox + Clover, let me explain that i'm trying something that I don't think anyone has attempted (at least that I've found). I need Hyper-V for my job, and installing workstation side-by-side is a no go. I am WELL aware that you can EASILY run a pure, unmodified macOS VM on Workstation without issue.

As for legality, that isn't even a gray area. It's perfectly legal, and even supported by Apple's own licensure. I am running Windows 10 on a Mac Mini (which is both LEGAL and SUPPORTED via BootCamp, although I went the pure UEFI install method) with Hyper-V enabled, and Apple does allow for virtualization of macOS server 10.5 and 10.6, and client installs of 10.7 and above on Apple branded hardware. Hence the reason why the hooks for macOS guests even exist on vmware products other than vmware fusion. The most common method of virtualizing macOS outside of Fusion on macOS being ESXi though.
Now that that is out of the way, let's get down to the technical aspects of this. Although not illegal, macOS of Hyper-V is certainly not supported by either Apple or Microsoft, so the low level hooks built in to vmware simply don't exist on Hyper-V. But then again, they don't exist on Virtual Box either. So I'm wondering if following the same basic procedure for setting up a macOS VM on Virtual Box on Windows on a PC would work to set up a macOS VM on Hyper-V on Windows.
